I attended the 70th Annual Congress of Japan Clinical Ophthalmology

I attended the 70th Annual Congress of Japan Clinical Ophthalmology, which was held in early this November, in Kyoto. The opening of the congress was as if I was in the famous theme park, so many people lining for the opening of the congress. I heard that the number of attendees reached a record-high, which was more than 8.500. From early in the morning, we studied hard, and in the evening, we promoted the friendship between other doctors from different institutions.

Personally, I gave a talk in the instruction course of LIME Working Group. And also, my junior doctor gave a talk about the outcomes of non-infectious corneal perforations that we experienced in my department in the past 2 years. This 2 years was a bit hard for me, because the professor/chairman was absent during these periods.

It was impressive that there were many discussions with regard to corneal diseases and Meibomian gland abnormalities.
